About Maple Hill Cemetery
Nestled in the wooded grounds on Sabino Farm Road, Peabody, MA, the Maple Hill Cemetery is open to members of the Jewish faith. Section E allows a serene burial location for members of the Jewish faith and their non-Jewish spouses and children. Section E also allows for cremation burials.
Just minutes from both Routes 114 and Route 128, this beautiful resting place for generations of North Shore residents offers services not found in many cemeteries. The 100 seat Ankeles Chapel is available for funerals at no cost. It is an ‘all season’ building with rest room facilities.
The wisdom of the founders created a cemetery with a stable endowment which will support the cemetery into perpetuity. Maple Hill recently expanded with the purchase of the adjacent Chevra Kadusha Cemetery. This purchase assures the availability of burial space well into the 22nd century. While benefiting Maple Hill, the purchase was also an act of “Tzedakah” by assuring the 197 individuals buried there that they will receive the same excellent care as the rest of Maple Hill.
Our endowment enables us to provide first class services at a low grave cost. Our current per plot cost is $1100 with an additional $400 nonrefundable perpetual care fee for a total of $1500. Payments can be spread out over three years interest free.
